Morningside Panthers Unveil New Coaching Panel for 2024 Women’s Season


As anticipation builds for the upcoming QFAW Div1 season, the Morningside Panthers are thrilled to introduce the coaching line-up that will guide the Senior Women’s team in 2024. Led by the seasoned Senior Head Coach, Paul Redley, this diverse and experienced coaching panel is poised for an exciting new seasons with endless possibilities.


Paul Redley - Senior Head Coach

Bringing a wealth of grassroots experience in Women’s AFL on the Gold Coast, Paul Redley has diligently prepared for the 2024 season since his appointment a month ago. His collaborative approach with the Club and sets the foundation for a promising campaign.


Aaron Hayes - Reserves Coach

With a decade of coaching experience and a particular passion for senior women’s football, Aaron Hayes joins as the Reserves Coach. Previously working for Clubs such as Jindalee Jags and Redcliffe Tigers in their women's program. Known for nurturing player development, Aaron's energetic and committed coaching style is a valuable addition to the Panthers.


Ty Hodgkin - Snr Assistant Coach (Forward Line)

Hailing from successful coaching stints, Ty Hodgkin brings eight years of experience, notably at Southport and Kedron Senior Women. Described by Coach Redley as possessing an "excellent football IQ," Ty’s focus on effective kicking techniques will undoubtedly enhance the team’s forward line.


Dan Gale - Snr Assistant Coach (Midfield Line)

A familiar face, Dan Gale returns for his third year, garnering respect from both players and the club. His commitment to the team's evolution aligns seamlessly with the Panthers' vision for the future by helping to support the transition of a highly successful women's team in the last 6 years to a women's program ready for the next level of development.


Abby Reynolds - Development Coach (Defensive Line)

A player transitioning into a coaching role, Abby Reynolds brings a unique perspective with 66 senior games under her belt. Her strategic insights and game plan perspective promise to be invaluable, underlining her commitment to both coaching and playing in the upcoming season.


Georgia Black - Female Football Excellence Manager

A new face, Georgia Black has been introduced to our football department in a quest to develop our elite youth development, wellness and high performance. Georgia's hosts a wealth of experience with the Queensland Firebird as High Performance Manager. Georgia is looking to assist in moving the women's side to that next level of the squads development.

Nat Black - Assistant Coach Support

A stalwart in the Panthers' senior women’s program, Nat Black's 75 games over six seasons reflect her dedication. In 2024, Nat continues her pivotal role, providing unwavering support to both players and the coaching team.
