THE RESERVES DEFEAT SHERWOOD IN AN EPIC GRAND FINAL CLASH!
The Morningside Women's Reserves team are still feeling the after glow of a grand final victory against Sherwood Magpies over the weekend. It was a hard fought game with many instances of tireless work by all sides.
Congratulations to all players, coaches, umpires, staff and volunteers involved in such a great day.

A bit of rain over the weekend didn't dampen these Junior members spirits! It was a fantastic send off and celebration at the end of season awards day for the juniors. It was fantastic to have Di Farmer present the awards to all the players and congratulate them on successful campaign.
THE PREMIERSHIP CUP HITS QUEENSLAND
The cup comes to Queensland
Yesterday the AFL Premiership Cup was greeted in Queensland by juniors from the Jimboomba Redbacks AFC
This morning, Head of AFL Queensland Trisha Squires, the Brisbane Lions, Gold Coast Suns and the Morningside Junior AFC celebrated the cup’s stint in the Sunshine State!

OUR TOYOTA RAFFLE A GREAT SUCCESS
We raised $16,480 for the Panthers which is fantastic result! Given the extremely difficult weather and trading conditions that have hit all community clubs once again this year, this financial support is invaluable!
In the past two years we have now raised $33,500 for the Panthers and again were in the top 8 clubs across Australia. We were No 2 in Queensland.
The raffle draw is this Friday 9 September, and we wish all the Panther supporters with tickets the best of luck!!! With $250,000 of prizes let’s hope we have a big collect!

SEMI FINAL FOOTBALL AT THE REAL HOME OF FOOTBALL
THIS WEEKEND FINALS FOOTY! We have two do or die clashes all LIVE at the Panthers. Come and soak up the atmosphere on Friday and Saturday night as these clubs look to book their spots in the Prelim Finals. There will be Footy bar and bistro specials for you to enjoy this weekend!
